How Much God Loves You?
Have you ever thought about how much God loves you? Take a few moments and consider the love of God for you. John 3: 16 relates that God so greatly loved the world that He gave His Only Son that whoever believes in Him will have everlasting life.
When we look at this text we can see that God’s love for us compelled Him trade places with us and pay the penalty for our disobedience. When we accept this exchange we become His children. John 1:12 states “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
We are now the children of God through Christ. That is why the apostle John could say
“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God....”
The question to you is are you beholding or looking at this love act? If so, how will you respond to it?
